Hello everyone! I'm back with an entry for a contest to Land of the Sky! A very interesting story and comic made by !

The contest theme consists in showing the relationship between characters! There are various like romance, friendship, family and even platonic, so I had chosen Micah and Souri. ^^ Micah has the mission to protect Souri, however, Micah has a sort of serious personality but in the bottom he has a very soft side. C: So I tried to portray that soft side, even if not that exaggerated because he's kind of timid to express his feelings. So here I still made the connection of both characters in a way of protection! Souri has a special past and she's the reincarnation of another character from the past story, called Solas, thus why she's somewhat "precious".

Also, both are very, very close friends and they have love feelings for one another, even if both are timid to express them. :3 At least is what I think when reading the comic. o_o

So here it is the result! Micah wants to protect her so that's why he wishes her a more peaceful time, somehow far away from the problems and that's the reason of the "peaceful" place. He does everything to make her happy no matter what.

As for Souri's expression, I tried to make her kind of surprised and enjoyable at the same time. C:


I wanted to make a second entry but SAI gave me a lot of problems with the file... I had to work on it in 2 separated files and join them in the end with Photoshop... If the time wasn't extended I wouldn't ever be able to complete it since the program doesn't supports bigger files...=.= I had in mind to use the time to another one but due to this I will be unable to do so...:/ But well, at least I could participate.

Of course I had lots of fun with this! I tried different stuff I hadn't done from before like not using lines in the background, coloring, garden, etc... It took some time but it was worth it! Oh and there are lil' fishes in the lake! x3 They're not very noticeable but they're there. :3 As for the lineart I made it more elegant just like in here: starsophi.deviantart.com/art/E… It results more with this coloring in my opinion.
